During the now legendary 22 World Cup, I kept spotting these brilliant 3D Messi masks in the crowds of Argentinan fans. After the tournament finished I set myself the task of hunting a few of them down, and thanks to a contact out in Messi's homeland who found a bunch in a kids toy shop I did just that.

Just like the legendary Diego masks made to celebrate Napoli's league win in 1989 I thought these 2022 Messi versions were missing a final touch to make them a little bit more special. So I hand made a card topper made with old cardboard to give it that real nostalgic 80s feel
