A couple of years before on the lead up to the Real Ronaldo exhibition I teamed up with Brain from Deadly Prey Gallery to help me bring a mock up I had designed of a classic barber shop piece with a magical R9 twist to life

When I asked Brian which artist was the man for the job. There was no hesitation, and he instantly recommend Leonardo for the commission. And I’m so happy he did

Sadly a few month later after the incredible exhibition piece had been completed Brian broke the heart breaking news that the legendary poster artist had sadly passed away at his home in Ghana. Making the Brazilian hair cuts piece even more special as it was one of the late great man’s last ever pieces of work
